The Potty

This is the Potty.

Mama tells me to sit on it. I do, but it's boring. There's no "ote" to watch.

Sometimes, I sit on it before my tubby.

Sometimes, I sit on it while Mama sits on hers.

It's not my favorite seat. I have others that I like better.

I like to take the orange part off. It makes a good hat.

On The Floor

There's stuff on the floor.

Sometimes it's my stuff. Sometimes it Mama's stuff that I put on the floor.

This is my stuff on the floor.

Some of this is Mama's stuff and some is mine. The spatula is mine but I don't have it anymore 'cuz it's broken.

I like stuff on the floor because then I know where to find it. Mama plays a game where she hides everything in boxes and I get to find it again. We play every day and it's fun.

Colors

I like colors.

I like my crayons to color on paper or the tubby. I colored on my face and on Daddy's face.

Mama wants me to know the color names.

This is green.

This is red.

And orange and yellow.

See, Mama, I know my colors. You can stop asking now.

The Floor

Mama says I'm getting big, but I'm still close to the floor.

I like to lay on it. And watch Doc.

Some floor feels good to lay on, like this one.

This floor does not feel good. When I get mad, I fall down and this floor hurts.

But this floor is better for sliding. I lay on my belly & push myself back. Mama calls me a penguin.

Pants

I don't like pants.

It's hot outside so I take them off. I like to wear just my diaper. Then I can take it off when it doesn't feel good. Mama yells when I do that.

Hers are at the top & mine are at the bottom. I like the bright spots on these pictures. It's pretty.

I'm Artsy

This week was very exciting. I turned 2. I had a big party with lots of people and food. Mama gave me the wrong kind of cupcake and I didn't like it. She gave me a brown one instead of the white one.

I have been taking lots of pictures. Mama said they looked weird but she doesn't understand. Some people call them anatomitcal lanscapes but I call them body spots. You take a picture of your hand or foot really close up and it looks like something you see outside.

This is my hand.

It looks like a cave!

I think this is my leg. I can't remember. It looks like the desert.

My Feet

These are my feet.

Dada tries to eat my feet. Mama tickles them. I don't like when she cuts my toenails.

These are also my favorite pants. I like the hearts. But, Mama won't let me wear them anymore. She says that it's summer and it's too hot. I get them out and carry them around anyway.

More Family

Mama says I'm lucky because I have cousins.

Lots of them.

They are all bigger than me. They're pretty fun to play with. I like when they chase me. They give me lots of hugs. Sometimes I like that, but sometimes I don't.

Two of my cousins came over to play. I tried to take a picture of one of them, but got Mama's foot instead.

You can see part of my cousin's leg. She has good stripey socks.

Dada

This is Dada.

He is silly and fun. He gives me lots of cheese. We hang out while Mama is at work. He's real good at toys and outside.

Weekends with Mama

Once in awhile, Mama takes me to "runerunds." Usually that means we go get stuff.

I like to ride in the big thing that holds all our stuff. Mama gets mad when I lick it. I like to watch the people and look for pictures of arf arfs.

Mama took me to a really big place. It was really loud and had tall shelves. Mama got big boxes of stuff. She let me take pictures while she looked at jammies for me.

I like how you can see my pants and the other man's pants. I think mine are cuter. You can't see them, but my shoes are better too. They're pink.

A New Art Form

My name is EJ and I'm an artist. Don't listen to what Mama says. She doesn't appreciate art.

Photography is (obviously) my favorite kind of art. My favorite camera is on Mama's Galaxy Nexus smartphone, but I'm not picky. I'll use iPhones too (whenever I can get my hands on one - thanks, Grammie!)

I also like Sesame Street (especially Bert), Doc McStuffins, outside, rocks, tubbies, arf arfs, running away, sticks, Mama's tablet, and strawberries.
